I've been sitting on this album for months. Why!? I don't know. It's cool, it's groovy, and I can hear the depth of this album, complete with overdubbing and the imperfections of analog recordings. Honestly, it's great....
These two ladies, a Swiss-German duo comprised of Valeska Steiner and Sonja Glass, have a sound that reminds me of a mix of Sara Bareilles and Leslie Feist, combined with some undertones of more celebratory music stylings. They've got a great sound in "Little Numbers", which begins with anticipation and curiosity in the underlying piano line, perfectly capturing the moment...
