It's been a while since I've had the opportunity to write about the RS150, and so gladly, on this sunny Thursday, I am happy to share my thoughts about Sign 'O' The Times by Prince. I've actually been stuck on this album for quite a while, which has been tricky to get past. It's not that I don't like Prince, I'm just not sure that there is much to write abut this album. It's got typical Prince funk. But I suppose the significance of this album is the fact that when it was released in 1987, this wasn't "typical Prince funk". He has a style that is far more refined than other artists at the time. And of course, his music has a layer of sex that was not part of the mainstream music scene in the late 80s. I don't have much else to write. The album was entertaining enough to listen to, but in all honesty, I'm excited to get past this album and listen to some new tunes. So with that, I leave you with this short and sweet return to the RS150. I've also included the album below, via Spotify. Enjoy! https://play.spotify.com/album/1XsXHctYSQNyAd9BANCk2B
